While in the catalogue raisonne, this early work by Andrew Wyeth, completed when he was just 22, had been in a private collection as a gift of the artist for over 50 years. Purchased privately, this fine work is now for sale. A fraudulent version of this painting was exhibited at the "Fakes and Frauds" exhibition at the Winterthur museum, 2018.
