A Chinese export lacquered tilt top tripod table with original chinoiserie decoration. The circular top is decorated with chinese figures in a garden setting with floral borders within concentric circles. The table tilts on a birdcage mechanism on a column shaft, supported by three cabriole legs ending in carved gilt paw feet. Chinese, for the export market; early to mid 19th century. Well conserved.
