A Regency period brass inlaid rosewood writing table attributed to the Gillows workshop of London, circa 1815. Having its original green tooled leather top supported by exceptionally well carved trestle ends, also inlaid with brass and ending in carved feet with recessed hidden casters. Provenance: Thomas, 2nd Marquess of Bath n(1765-1837) for Longleat Hall, Wiltshire and by descent at Longleat. More information available.
