A French tulipwood and palisander "Table a écrire" by Leonard Boudin, circa 1760. The pierced ormolu gallery is mounted on a rectangular case with a working drawer and is supported by turned and tapered legs ending in toupee feet. The frieze is also mounted with ormolu trim and inlaid with contrasting woods. Stamped underside "L BOUDIN".
